What a website chatbot does
A website chatbot sits in the corner of your pages and answers questions in plain language: what you sell, what it costs, what the policy is, whether something is available.
A Lurix chatbot reads from your actual content instead of from general knowledge. When it quotes a price, it is the price on your site.
How it answers
- Looks up before it writesWhen a visitor asks something, the chatbot first finds the most relevant items in your content, then writes the reply from only what it found.
- Says when it does not knowIf nothing relevant turns up, it tells the visitor it could not find accurate information and points them to your customer service.
- Stays on topicIt talks about your business and declines unrelated requests, including attempts to make it reveal its own instructions.
- Replies in the visitor's languageHebrew and English are live today. Other languages are set up per project.
What goes into it
Product catalogs, price lists, service descriptions, opening hours, shipping and return policies, and the questions your team answers every week. We load that content, test the chatbot against real questions, and re-sync it whenever your information changes.
Adding it to your site
The chatbot installs with a single line of code on your pages, so it works on any site where you can add a script. It only runs on the domains you approve, and it takes your brand color and font so it looks like part of the site.
You can see the same system working on a sample catalog in the live assistant on our home page.
Common questions
How is this different from a basic website chat widget?
A basic widget either passes messages to a person or follows a fixed script. This chatbot writes free-text answers from your own content, so visitors can ask in any wording.
What happens when the chatbot is unsure?
It says it could not find accurate information and suggests contacting your customer service. It is instructed never to invent prices, specifications, or availability.
Can it get something wrong?
Its answers can only be as accurate as the content it is given. We test it with real customer questions before launch and fix gaps in the content when they show up.
Which languages does it support?
Hebrew and English are live. Additional languages are configured per project.
How long does setup take?
Most of the time goes into collecting and loading your content. A first working version can be live within days.
Can visitors still reach a person?
Yes. The chatbot can direct visitors to your support contact, and a handoff flow can be built as part of a project.
